Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy for the Southern Region – Submissions Requested

Dec 15, 2017

Following publication of the Draft National Planning Framework “Ireland Our Plan 2040”(NPF), the Southern Regional Assembly has commenced the formal process for the formulation of a Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES) for the Southern Region as provided for under Section 21(1)(b) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended). The objective of the RSES shall be to support the implementation of the NPF  and the economic policies and objectives of the Government by providing a long-term planning and economic framework which shall be consistent with the NPF and the economic policies or objectives of the Government.

  • Regional housing needs and settlement patterns
  • Social, community and cultural facilities
