Carlow Business Awards
The Carlow Business Awards are more than just an event – the are a recognition of excellence in business, and an opportunity to celebrate talent and achievement.
The awards run over the summer months – beginning with a launch event in May and culminating in the awards night, in September, when we celebrate our winners.
The awards are run by County Carlow Chamber, are sponsored by Carlow County Council and are open to any business in Carlow – not only Chamber members. There are currently 26 categories in all.
There are 22 categories that businesses can be nominated for – either by self-nomination or a nomination by a satisfied customer, client, friend or member of the public.
Applicants go through a process of assessment, shortlisting and final judging over the summer months before the finalists are announced 3-4 weeks in advance of the Awards night. This robust and transparent process ensures a healthy sense of competition – and adds to the excitement when the winners are announced on the awards night.
The 2026 Awards nominations are Closed. The 2027 Carlow Business Awards process will commence in May, all details will be announced at the Launch of the 2027 Business Awards. Keep an eye on our social media and website for notable dates.
