County Carlow Chamber & Carlow County Councils Local Enterprise invite you, your key staff and your team to attend the “Brexit Preparedness & Business Support Event”, which will be held from 11.30am – 2.30pm in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel, Kilkenny Road, Carlow, on 16th October 2019. Hosted by Jonathan Healy,  roadcaster, this event will focus on identifying exposure to Brexit, winning international sales and other strategies to address Brexit challenges and opportunities.  The event will include exhibitors from key support agencies and also a panel event over an informal lunch.

11.30am Registration, Networking & Exhibition
The Exhibition will include stands from key support agencies who will give an overview
of the supports available and how to best access same.

12.20pm The Brexit Panel Event

A light lunch will be available during the panel event.

12.30pm Welcome and Introduction by Kieran Comerford Head of Enterprise,
Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office
12.40pm The Panel Event
The Panel Events includes 3 panels which will discuss challenges and opportunities
around Brexit and competitiveness in your business.

1.00pm The Innovation Panel
The Innovation Panel will discuss the importance of innovation in business
development and in particular innovation and Brexit. The panel will include experts in
ecommerce, innovation and lean.

1.20pm The Brexit Panel
The Brexit Panel will discuss the current challenges and supports in place for Brexit
and will include Brexit Advisors from the Local Enterprise Office & Intertrade Ireland.
Panel Members: Denis Casey, Padraig Briody and Bobby Connolly.

1.40pm The Finance Panel
The Finance Panel will discuss challenges around cost of business, access to finance,
scaling and the importance of business planning.

2.00pm Closing Words by Brian O’Farrell Chief Executive, County Carlow Chamber

2.10pm Support Journey and Exhibition
Following the panel event, attendees will have a chance to meet with executive
members of a the Local Enterprise Office to book a one-to-one meeting with a Brexit
Advisor in order to prepare an individual plan for Brexit and hear more about LEO
Services, such as Lean for Micro, Trading Online Vouchers and other supports.
The exhibitors will be available for further consultation.
