Brian O’Farrell Appointed Chief Executive of County Carlow Chamber

The County Carlow Chamber Board of Directors are delighted to advise that Brian O’Farrell, has been appointed to the position of CEO of County Carlow Chamber and will take up the role on the 4th April 2016.

Brian is a graduate of the Shannon College of Hotel Management.  He spent 14 years working in the UK before returning to Ireland in 2010.  Brian has acquired extensive experience in the hospitality industry, working with both national and international hotel groups, in a number of management and operational positions.  He spent 10 years with Jurys Group where he managed Jurys Inn Christchurch, Jurys Glasgow Hotel and Jurys Inn Leeds.  Since his return to Ireland, Brian has been involved in a number of different projects, most recently working in the area of hospitality outsourcing, while in his spare time completing an Honours Degree Programme with Carlow IT.  Now living outside Borris, close to where he grew up, Brian has a passion for many sports including equestrian, cycling and hiking and can often be found exploring the hills and trails of south Carlow.

We would like to offer Brian a warm welcome and best wishes in his new position at the County Carlow Chamber.
