Role Overview
JOB TITLE: Support Office Lead (Mid – Senior role)

SALARY: TBC – 45k-65k depending on experience
LOCATION: Head Office – Grounds of St Kieran’s Collage, Kilkenny City
Office Based Role.
CONTRACT TYPE: 2–4 year Fixed contract with potential to extend
WORKING HOURS:
Full-time – Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, may require some work
outside of normal working hours.
About South East Energy Agency
South East Energy Agency (SEEA) is a non-profit, independent energy agency collaborating primarily with clients across
Ireland South East counties of Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, and Waterford and beyond. Our key focus is to increase
awareness and promote behaviour change to accelerate ‘energy transition’ for the South East Region of Ireland. We have
a broad remit across the energy sector and work on a wide range of local, national and EU projects which require multidisciplinary
teams and skills. SEEA provides a range of energy services to its clients including developing and delivering
EU projects, Sustainable Energy Management, Energy Auditing, Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Development,
project management & delivery, Grant administration, Energy Master Planning and more.

What you will be doing
South East Energy Agency is collaborating with various stakeholders & clients, non-domestic and domestic in the public
and private sectors to provide independent brokering & technical support and advice particularly in the Community
undertaking sustainable energy projects. This role will lead out to work on the business model review and change
management thereafter, new business planning phase. Enable the wider team to optimise the delivery from the 23 strong
multidisciplinary team. The Support Office Lead will work as part of a team and will have specific responsibility to lead
your team towards:
1. HR Management:
Lead administration for all new staff recruitment and induction for new employees
Oversee sourcing, recruiting, and monitoring CPD excellence maintained for the company
Act as the HR point of contact for all staff
Manage leave, TOIL, and employment contract administration
Coordinate H&S Service and other section lead supplier contract administration
Recruit staff, including managers and heads of departments
2. Ensuring Compliance:
Audit, maintain and deliver team-wide compliance on ISO 90001 Certification
Support the team in implementing disciplinary procedures / reviews / contract management
(HR, IT Support, H&S Service Contract Management)
Ensure adherence to company regulations, standards and policies as set out in the Employee
Handbook etc.
Ensure internal timesheets and project schedules are updated regularly.
3. Implementing Administrative Systems and Applications:
Lead the development and implementation of a new 3-year business plan for the operations of the
business, including change management and structure reorganisation
Implement administrative systems and applications
Optimise dashboard to summarise each sectoral monthly KPI report to CEO
Review, improve, and implement efficient administration systems (e.g. SharePoint filing, email, client
correspondence etc.)
Maintain and continuously improve company policies
Implement Health and Safety Management
4. Database Management:
Assist and manage Admin staff work schedule and time management
Ensure the office is adequately staffed at all times
Manage section budgets
Manage paperwork and databases
Qualifications and Experience:
Each candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms for the position, have:
Business Administration Qualification
Proven track record of HR administration
Excellent IT & Communication Skills
Self-starter and self-motivated
Team player who inspires, challenges, and strives for results.
5 Plus Years’ Experience
One or more of the following would be an advantage:
MBA – master’s in business administration
Qualification in Business
