Michael Lyng Motors Ltd was established by Michael and Mary Lyng in November 1996. They secured the Mitsubishi franchise and after a very productive and successful two years the Hyundai franchise was secured in March 1998.

In the intervening years Michael Lyng Motors has grown exponentially and currently the company operates its Hyundai Main Dealerships from state of the art premises at Hebron Road, Kilkenny and Sleaty Road Carlow.

Since 2012, Michael Lyng Motors on the Hebron Road in Kilkenny City are the new main dealers for Ford in Kilkenny City and County. Michael Lyng Motors now offers car, van, 4×4 sales and servicing plus all the backup services expected of a top line Ford dealership. The company is 100% family owned and run with Michael acting as Managing Director and Dealer Principal in Kilkenny and Neil Lyng acting as Dealer Principal in Carlow. The company possesses a strong and committed staff with many years of experience satisfying all our customer needs.
