Production Supervisor
Delmec are looking for a Production Supervisor who will monitor our production operations and ensure that they deliver maximum quality in a profitable manner, while all operational, administration and health and safety controls are adhered to. The duties will include monitoring employees٫ organising workflows and analysing the efficiency of manufacturing processes. The Production Supervisor will conduct regular audits of assigned areas and maintain a high level of quality by adhering to SOP’s.
Candidates should be able to plan the production schedule and ensure all necessary materials and equipment are available to the production team when needed. They will ensure that machines are functional, and the production facilities adhere to safety standards. Production Supervisor needs to be able to quickly assess production issues and establish the best course of action. They should also be able to deal with team-management issues quickly and effectively.
Candidates should have excellent organisational, communication, effective planning and analytical skills with problem solving and decision-making abilities. This position requires at least 5 years relevant experience of working in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or steel fabrication industry.
