Thursday the 26th of September 2024 saw the announcement of all 26 winners of the Carlow Business Awards at a glitzy event in VISUAL, Carlow.

This annual awards ceremony is one of the highlights of the business community’s year – recognising and celebrating excellence.  This year over 450 people attended across 2 venues within VISUAL, which were connected by a live link. MC’s for the night were broadcaster and journalist, Eimear Ni Bhraonain and KCLR presenter Shannon Redmond.

The winners came from throughout the county – from businesses of all sizes and types.  ‘Awards like these enable businesses to take a step back and look at what they do well – and to recognise progress and success.  They also enable the wider community to get an insight into their achievements – shining a light on their success.  We would like to congratulate all of our finalists, and in particular our winners – the future is bright for Carlow.’ Says Nicola Doran, CEO of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce.

The overall Carlow Business of the Year for 2024 is Caredoc. Their trophy was presented to Margaret Curran and the team at Caredoc, by Ultan Ryan of Carlow Credit Union.  This, like many of the categories, was very competitive – a testament to the dynamic and thriving Carlow business eco-system.
