St. Canice’s Credit Union is a Non-Profit Community Financial Co-Operative. You’re more than a customer; You’re a Member.
In Carlow we have a branch in Bagenalstown, which covers the geographic areas of Oldleighlin, Leighlinbridge, Ballinabranagh, Milford, Nurney, Fenagh, Garyhill, Ballinkillen, Myshall, Borris, Goresbridge, Gowran and Paulstown. We offer personal and business lending and are part of the Government backed Covid-19 Credit Guarantee scheme. With SME loan values of up to €1 million available through this scheme. If you have not yet become a member of a credit union and you live or work in any of the geographic areas in which we are located, both you and your family members can join.
Anyone in the geographic area in which we operate who is aged 16 years or older can join St. Canice’s Credit Union from the comfort and safety of their own home. It is easy for people then to set up their online account, download our new App with Touch ID or transact in branch.
We have a current account and Mastercard Debit Card available to assist with everyday banking needs. The card facilitates Google Pay, FitBit Pay and Apple Pay is on the way. The debit card is free for all students aged between 16 – 25 years and for older members aged 66 years+.
Our personal max. loan is €75,000 and you can apply for a mortgage up to the value of €350,000 & with quick turnaround from a trusted lending provider, most people’s financial service needs can be looked after by St. Canice’s Credit Union.
