Clogrennane Lime Ltd. is Ireland’s premier producer of Quicklime and Hydrated Lime products. They have been producing lime from Clogrennane, Co. Carlow since 1816, making them one of Europe’s oldest lime companies. The diverse product range is used in many different industries, ranging from agricultural lime to lime for flue gas treatment, lime for water purification and soil stabilisation, as well as many other uses. All their lime products are sold under the White Rhino brand, reflecting their strength and purity.

They operate Ireland’s largest and most advanced lime processing facilities, producing a wide range of specialist products for the agricultural, environmental, industrial and construction sectors. During the last two decades, with the support of CRH, their parent company, and in collaboration with their sister companies, they have been seeking to think differently about their purpose, solutions and services. They have put innovation at the forefront of what they do and how they do it.

As a result, they have developed a full range of new lime-based solutions and grown our product offering from 2 in 1997 to over 15 today. Their logistics, technical support and customer service offerings are always evolving. Finding innovative ways to help their customers do what they do is a core part of what they do. Recent innovations include helping construction clients to dry and stabilise soil in harbour works.
