Student Summer Internship

Carlow Community Enterprise Centre CLG is a not-for-profit organization based in Carlow, Ireland, dedicated to supporting local entrepreneurship and community development. Structured as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG), the centre provides affordable office spaces, training facilities, and a range of business support services designed to foster local enterprise and economic growth. In essence, it serves as a hub for entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses, offering resources such as workspace, mentoring, networking opportunities, and guidance to help drive innovation and sustainability within the community.

Carlow Community Enterprise Centres CLG are offering an exciting 12-week internship for a 3rd-level student currently undertaking a full-time course in Engineering, Business, Computing, Finance, Science, Arts or related discipline) to gain hands-on experience in event coordination, logistics, and database development. This is a great opportunity to develop practical skills in a dynamic enterprise environment. This is a project based roll working in partnership with our project partners Club Carlow , Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet & Carlow County Council – Local Enterprise Office.

Applicants must be full-time students (over the age of 18 before 1st June 2025) who are currently undertaking a third level course in Engineering, Business, Computing, Finance, Science, Arts or related discipline).

Remuneration will be at a rate of €13.50 per hour.
