Douglas Jeweller’s was established over 75 years ago and since 1951 was under the ownership and management of Ken Tucker.

The people of Carlow and surrounding areas have for many years regarded Douglas Jewellers of Tullow Street as a firm supplying goods of the highest quality work with a reputation for integrity and customer service.

In 1989 the business got a big boost with the return of Kens son Ivan, who now runs the day to day operation of the business. Ivan received his diploma as a polished diamond grader form the international gemological institute Antwerp in March 2006, a valuable experience when explaining all about diamonds to engaged couples or people looking for that perfect diamond piece.

They have an in-house watchmaker for all your watch repair enquiries and a private fitting room for engaged couples.

In addition to their many leading brands they also carry a selection of barometers, wall clocks, hip flasks, christening gifts, cross pens & Newbridge frames all suitable for engraving at no extra charge. Also see the new SECRID range of wallets & key rings.

Douglas Jewellers also have a specially designated trophy section with a vast selection of trophies, thomond crystal, bronze resin figures, medallions and medals for all your sporting/charity events, all engraved on the premises which enables a speedy turnaround, you can also have your association or club’s logo put on many of the items the shop stocks.

They have an extensive range of products, many of which are available exclusively (in Carlow) to their store and include, Alex & Ani, Thomas Sabo, Juicy Couture, and Tommy Hilfiger to name just a few.
