Clare Wardell, Irish Research and Development (R&D) tax group for EY Ireland

Clare has extensive knowledge of the Irish R&D tax regime and has been with EY for the last 7 years.  Clare has worked with a broad range of companies from start-up companies, small and medium-sized companies, and multinationals across a vast array of industry sectors including Food, Software, Pharmaceutical, Engineering and Biomedical assisting them with R&D tax credit claims.

As part of her role she also assists companies on R&D Revenue audits and also assists companies with obtaining grant funding from IDA. Clare is a member of Irish Tax Institute.

Ross McKiernan, R&D Consultant, EY Waterford

Ross has experience of working across multiple sectors including technology, manufacturing and the life sciences with indigenous SMEs and multinational clients. He has intimate knowledge of the R&D landscape including incentives and supports for enterprise development, collaboration and innovation.

A technical mind-set coupled with a strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial orientation gives Ross a natural ability to identify and nurture long-term partnerships with his clients to deliver value at the bottom line.
