Employer Recruitment Supports & Financial Grants

Intreo is a single point of contact for all employment and income supports in the Department of Social Protection. Intreo offers a wide range of employment supports and services to employers.

Our Supports:

ie is a free advertising and recruitment website that provides employers with a platform to advertise job vacancies and connect to jobseekers.
Job Matching and Events: Intreo has a large and diverse jobseeker database which is used to match jobseekers to vacancies advertised on JobsIreland. Intreo also hosts in-person and online recruitment events to connect employers with jobseekers.
The Work Placement Experiecne Programme (WEP) provides an employer with the opportunity to host a participant on a six-month work placement at no cost to the company.
JobsPlus is a financial subsidy that rewards employers who provide full-time employment to qualifying jobseekers. An employer can avail of financial support of €7,500 to €10,000.
The Wage Subsidy Scheme and the Work and Access Scheme are supports offered to employers who hire people with disabilities through financial contributions towards an employee’s salary, workplace adaptations and follow-up supports for training.
European Employment Service (EURES) can be used by employers to expand recruitment drives into the European job market. Our EURES advisers are also available to give expert advice on recruiting candidates from Europe.
By signing up to the Employment and Youth Engagement Charter employers can build diversity and inclusion in their business through a structured framework of recruitment supports and services.
