Carlow Business Awards Finalists Announced

With less than 2 weeks to go to the awards night in VISUAL on the 26^th of September, the finalists of the Carlow Business Awards 2024, sponsored by Carlow Credit Union have been announced.

‘This has been an incredible year for the awards with over 400 businesses nominated for awards.  The standard has impressive – which is a reflection on the strength, diversity and ambition of the business community throughout the county.’ Says Michael Quinn, President of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce – organisers of the awards. ‘In total we have116 finalists from 94 different businesses, large and small throughout the county.’

Process

Depending on their category, these finalists will have had to either complete application forms, undergo a Mystery Customer visits and / or complete a presentation / interview with one of 7 panels of independent experts.  The process is thorough and gives each businesses a chance to really show their strengths.

‘These awards are all about recognising and rewarding excellence – across a range of areas.  It is an opportunity to identify businesses who are excelling in their field or in a particular area of their business – such as Customer Service.’ Explains Nicola Doran, CEO of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce. ‘This has been my first time being involved in the awards, and I have been so impressed with the quality and calibre of the businesses.  The competition was very stiff, and each of the finalists should be very proud of their achievement.’
