Sponsor Announced for the Presidents Lunch

Sponsor and Line-Up Announced for President’s Lunch

Theme: Leadership & Resilience – Lessons Learned On and Off the Pitch

The President’s Lunch is one of the highlights of the County Carlow Chamber of Commerce calendar, providing members – and indeed non-members – with the opportunity to network in the run up to the Christmas period.

The sponsor of this year’s event is LSMQ Chartered Accountants.  This progressive firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors celebrated 21 years in business this year – and pride themselves on their practical & customer-focused approach, while providing innovative services and delivering excellence with their professional advice and expertise.

‘We are delighted to sponsor County Carlow Chamber of Commerce President’s Lunch – this is an ideal event for connecting and networking with a diverse range of businesses from the county” explains LSMQ Partner John O’Shea. ‘Given that we are 21 years in business this year, it felt like an appropriate way to celebrate with Chamber members – many of whom are clients, suppliers and friends.’

This year the event features an exciting panel of guest speakers – former rugby players Brent Pope, Bernard Jackman and Sean O’Brien.  Moderated by Carlow broadcaster and communications expert, Eimear Ni Bhraonain the panel will discuss Leadership and Resilience – Lessons Learned On and Off the Pitch.

‘We are delighted to have LSMQ as sponsors, and to be able to bring such a topical and relevant panel discussion to the event.’ Says President of the Chamber, Michael Quinn. ‘The panel will touch on topics such as mental health, resilience and leadership both in sport and in business – no doubt giving us plenty of interesting anecdotes, insights and food for thought.’

The President’s Lunch will take place on the 6th of December, in the Talbot Hotel Carlow and tickets are available on the Chamber website – www.carlowchamber.com – or by calling Lisa on 059 9132337.
