The County Carlow Chamber have announced that Eileen Brophy will be recognised for her s contributions to Carlow with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Carlow Business Awards on Thursday next 27th September. The Lifetime achievement award is presented to a person who is described as a pillar of the community someone who has inspired others and made continued contributions to business and the community over the years.
Eileen is the founder and Director of Services of Delta Centre Ltd., which provides a range of services to people with intellectual disabilities in Carlow. She is also a founder member of Tinteán, the Carlow Voluntary Housing Association where she is currently Chairperson of the board. Through her work and contribution, Eileen has been a strong voice over the years representing the Disability Sector and working to deliver services of the highest standards.
She has worked tirelessly in the community to great effect over the years and in 2016 took over the chains as the first ever female president at the Carlow Chapter. She is active in the business community and is a current member of the board at the Carlow Chamber.
