Chamber Unveils New Sponsor of Business Awards 2024
County Carlow Chamber of Commerce have announced a new sponsor of their prestigious Business Awards. Carlow Credit Union will be the main sponsor of the 2024 awards – including the Business Awards Launch, the Business Awards Ceremony and the Celebrating Business Outside Broadcast event with KCLR.
“ We are delighted to have the Credit Union on board as the new sponsor of our Business Awards – which are one of the most important events we run. There are very real synergies between both organisations – both serving and supporting members – so this collaboration is a great fit.” Explains Michael Quinn, President of County Carlow Chamber.
The Carlow Business Awards are a key event in the Chamber’s busy calendar – with over 135 businesses from throughout the county being nominated for awards across 26 categories in 2023.
“Carlow Credit Union are extremely proud to come on board as the main sponsor of the Carlow Business Awards. These awards are not only popular and well respected, but they positively impact all of the businesses involved in a very real way – rewarding excellence, raising awareness and recognising achievement.” Says Ultan Ryan, CEO of Carlow Credit Union. “We currently have over 33,000 members, many of which own, run or work in these businesses so for us this seems like an ideal partnership, and we are delighted to be main sponsors for 2024. We strongly encourage businesses large and small, from every industry throughout the county to get involved.”
The Carlow Business Awards launch will take place on the 11th of July in Seamus Byrne Electrical – the winner of last year’s Carlow Business of the Year Award – and all are welcome.
The awards themselves will take place in Visual, Carlow on the 26th of September – with over 400 people expected to attend. The winners in each Category will also feature in the Celebrating Excellence Outside Broadcast event with KCLR in October.
“ Having a local sponsor with such strong roots in the community is great for Carlow Business Awards and we would like to thank Carlow Credit Union for coming onboard and supporting local businesses in this way.” Says Nicola Doran, CEO of the Chamber “ As a not-for-profit, membership body, we rely on collaborations with great businesses and organisations like the Credit Union and our other sponsors to run our wide range of events and services, designed to support and promote the Carlow business community.”
The Awards are open to all businesses throughout the county and they are a great way to raise profile and awareness. Information on how to apply (or be nominated) for the Carlow Business Awards will be announced on the 11th of July
