Calling All Golfers: Date Announced for the County Carlow Chamber Golf Classic 2026

The popular Chamber Golf Classic will take place in Carlow Golf Club on Wednesday the 17th of June this year – sponsored by Michael Lyng Motors, Carlow.

“We’re delighted to be back sponsoring the Carlow Chamber Golf Day for the third year running. It’s always a highlight in the calendar. It’s a fantastic opportunity to step away from the desk, enjoy some friendly competition, and connect with the people who make our local business network so strong”. said Neil Lyng – Dealer Principal.

The event is open to golfers of all levels and abilities – with some taking it more seriously than others.  Indeed Michael Lyng Motors have been known to play some very competitive teams over the years!

‘We are privileged in Carlow to have some fantastic golf courses throughout the county.  We are delighted to announce that our annual Chamber Golf Classic will take place in the stunning surroundings of Carlow Golf Club again this June and we are proud to have Michael Lyng Motors on board as sponsors again this year.’  Says Norah Ryan, President of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce. ‘We are looking forward to a great day’s golfing, connecting with Chamber members, their colleagues and friends.’

Prizes will be awarded to the teams that come first and second overall (based on the best 2 balls per team of 4 on each hole).

There will also be prizes for:

  • The Longest Drive on the 16th hole – for both Ladies and Men
  • Nearest to the Pin on the 17th hole
  • The top 3 players in the Putting Challenge
