Our CEO Nicola Doran recently met with Ministers Paschal Donohue and Jack Chambers along with Chambers Ireland to discuss the needs of business in advance of the budget.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the chambers’ Pre-Budget Submission for 2026 that outlines the priorities of affiliated Chambers across Ireland and sets out tangible budgetary measures to ensure a competitive and sustainable economy.

In particular they expanded on the issues that have been raised by the business community across the county – infrastructure, housing, energy and competitiveness – giving feedback and examples of the real issues our members are facing at present.

We thank both Ministers for their engagement and look forward to continued collaboration to deliver a budget that prioritises infrastructure as key to our competitiveness and supports businesses and communities across Ireland.
