Budget 2023 – How will it deliver?

Sep 19, 2022

The Budget 2023 is due to be released by the Government on Tuesday 27th September, and while there are some leaks of information and much speculation in the media about what it will contain and how it will impact on businesses and individuals, it will not be clear to see until it is finally released.

The county Carlow Chamber are delighted to be partnering with Harney Nolan Chartered Accounts to assist everyone in better understanding how the measures can and may impact them with a special briefing on Wednesday 28th September at 7.30am in the talbot Hotel Carlow.  The event will provide some further insight and analysis into the budget and the measures, with an opportunity to put forward questions and raise points of discussion relevant to your business.

The Budget Briefing is open for all to attend; however places need to be booked in advance.  The morning starts at 7.30am and is due to finish by 9.30am with breakfast served during the briefing, tickets are priced at €15pp (€10 for Chamber members)

Brian O’Farrell, CEO of County Carlow Chamber said “We have seen considerable cost increases in a range of areas over recent years, with the current cost of living crisis also having a major impact on individuals and businesses.  While we have already heard several promises from Government on the measures that Budget 2023 will bring, the final proof will be in what they deliver on the 27th.  Key areas like Housing, Energy, Skills & Talent, and the Cost of Living must be addressed with proper support and not just short term solutions.”

The briefing is open for everyone to attend.  To book places at the Budget Breakfast briefing, visit the County Carlow Chamber website on www.carlowchamber.com to book online or members may also contact the office on  admin@carlowchamber.com  or alternatively on 059 913 2337, in addition if there are specific areas or points that you would like to see addressed on the morning, please forward these through to Brian O’Farrell at the Chamber on ceo@carlowchamber.com .
