The Role

As Quality Assurance Engineer you will work as part of an Agile development team and ensure that the software is delivered to a high-quality standard by collaborating with the other team members. You will be involved in planning, designing, management, execution and reporting of tests using appropriate testing tools and techniques.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure the quality of existing and new features through both manual and automated testing.
  • Use continuous integration techniques where practical.
  • Work closely across other departments to create acceptance criteria for the user stories.
  • Support and drive test automation through all phases of testing (such as unit, system, integration and regression)
  • Communicate with the Agile Team on progress made and planned progress.
  • Automate testing of software to industry standards (Selenium, Playwright)
  • Create and maintain appropriate test data for the team.
  • Manage each project’s scope and timeline.
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
  • Help teams implement changes effectively.
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.

What You’ll Bring

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science/Engineering (or related) degree
  • 2+ Years’ experience within a similar role
  • Basic understanding of programming fundamentals
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Team player with an ability quickly adapt in an innovative and ever-changing environment
  • Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Scrum, XP etc.)

Not essential but nice to have

  • Experience in a Scrum Master Role.
  • API testing and/or backend data validation experience
