Tullow Agricultural Show – Coppenagh Business Tent 2025

We were blessed with fine weather again for the 2025 Tullow Agricultural Show which was a resounding success!   There was an exceptional array business in attendance,  the majority of whom were local to Carlow.

Carlow Chamber are delighted to be part of the Coppenagh Business tent for the Event.  We hosted a series of talks which included an impressive cross section of business’s, councelors and even a Rugby star, including:

Catriona Cullen of Cullen Nurseries, Joe O’Toole of Joe O’Toole and Sons, Cllr Ben Ward,  Minister Jennifer Murnane O’Connor, Ruth Byrne of Blakes Hair Salon, Former Irish Rugby Player Bernard Jackman, Evelyn Van Manen of Forus-P Cyber security, Andrew from Sun Arc Solar, Ronan of De Laval, Marie Porter of Duffy & Porter, Brendan McDonnald of Bedtimestory.ie, Cathal cullen of Seaclaid Saibhir handcrafted chocolates.

 

It was a good opportunity to discuss business in Carlow with local entrepeneurs and discover the impact Tullow Agricultural Show has on business in general often becoming and annual outing!

Chamber President Norah Ryan got into the Spirit of things on the day as we commenced our first chamber walk-about at the show, followed by a live interview on KCLR, visiting chamber members and show exhibitors along the way, she even became a novice fire officer…!

We were delighted to bump into Tánaiste Simon Harris TD on his walk about with Cheryl McHutchon, Cllr Ben Ward and Catherine Callaghan TD; Nicola and Norah even managed to have a quick chat about business priorities for the Carlow region.

The Show was a credit to all the organisers, in particular we would like to extend our thanks to Cheryl Stanley of Ballyshane Ireland along with all the Committee, Sponsors, Judges, Stewards, Organisers, Participants and the host of Volunteers of Tullow Agricultural Show and finally to Coppenagh House Farm who hosted the event.  We’re looking forward to next year already!!
