Invitation to Tender – External Audit Services

Aug 12, 2021

At the recent Annual General Meeting of the County Carlow Chamber, it was advised that a review of the audit processes and procedures of the Chamber was being carried out.  Included in this review, it was approved for the finance committee to open a tender process in relation to the provision of External Audit Service.  The current auditors have been in place for over 5 years and we believe that is it good practice to review this process on a regular basis.

Access the Invitation to Tender Document (CLICK HERE) which outlines details of the process, including requirements and timelines.

The key dates in the process are as follows:

  • 12th August 2021 – Tender documents published
  • 9th September 2021 – Proposal to be received by County Carlow Chamber (electronic copies to ceo@carlowchamber.com)
  • 13th – 17th September ’21 – Presentation to audit committee
  • By 8th October 2021 – Sign-off by Board / contracts awarded
