ESB Networks will be briefing Chamber members on the latest developments in infrastructure, the electrification of heat and transport and smart technology for business at a series of events around the country.

Ahead of the series, Chief Executive of Chambers Ireland Ian Talbot said, “The briefings will enable Chamber members to learn about the business opportunities that improving electricity infrastructure and technology will bring to their region.”

“An adequate provision of electricity is essential for the business community.  ESB Networks has made progress in addressing the infrastructure needs at a local and national level and has ensured that vital infrastructure projects have commenced. Continued improvement to our network infrastructure will be crucial in the coming years as the economy grows and businesses expand. These briefings offer us the opportunity to learn about the work currently being undertaken and about plans for the future.”

Echoing this sentiment Senan Colleran, Head of Distribution & Customer Service in ESB Networks said,

“This is a fantastic opportunity to update Chamber members on the investment in electricity services at a national and local level. It’s also an opportunity to connect with businesses to inform them of improvements to service and supply and the opportunities in the sector such with electric vehicles and smart technology.”

The ESB Networks series of talks for Chamber members commences on Thurs 9th November in Carlow at 6pm in the Lord Bagenal Hotel . Further events will take place in Dun Laoghaire, Sligo, Waterford, Limerick and Drogheda.
