In the First 2 ½ weeks of September, Chamber Members delivered a series of 8 lunchtime seminars in aid of Charity.  The Formula was simple, attendees attend a Free Seminar, receive a Free Lunch and the only ask is that they make a donation  on arrival to our nominated charity.mailchimpwhite

The seminars covered a range of topics and this ensured that there was something to suit everyone.  Over the course of the series we investigated Skills, cooked a website in 20 minutes, applied design to business, embraced the power of coaching, excelled in Health & Safety culture, optomised our space in the digital world, autopsied a facebook ad and looked at how to communicate in a world of information overload.

The nominated Charity for the series was the Carlow Special Olympics Sports Club and we raised €1216.85 through donations during the series.

In addition to the money that was donated, our members Blacknight who managed to “Cook a website in 20 minutes” donated the domain name carlowspecialolympics.club, and a hosting package to Carlow Special Olympics Club to assist them in developing a website for the club.
