Jan 14, 2026

This year Aptus Broadband turns 20 years old, a remarkable achievement for any business but even more impressive when you look at the telecoms industry and the evolution that it has undergone in the last two decades – for context the first iPhone was not released when Aptus started beaming wireless broadband into homes throughout the Southeast of Ireland.

Aptus Business have been announced as the 2026 sponsor of the recently re-developed County Carlow Chamber of Commerce newsletter. A proud Carlow-based broadband, fibre and cloud VoIP phone systems provider,  Aptus Business is part of the Aptus Broadband Brand that serves both residential and business customers.

‘As a key provider of broadband services to the Carlow business community, we believe Aptus Business is the ideal partner for the popular Chamber Newsletter.  Both provide support, assistance and excellent service to the business community.’  Fergal Kearney, founder of Aptus Broadband.

Aptus seamlessly connects people and businesses and recognises that the Chamber newsletter is one of the Chamber’s key communications channels, reaching all Chamber members and a broad spectrum of key stakeholders.  It provides updates on Chamber events, opportunities and activities, as well as key business sector information and news on Chamber Members.

‘ From 2026 the newsletter will move to a biweekly format – being issued every second Wednesday – and will continue to deliver the key information that our members require. Engagement levels with the Newsletter are very strong – and we are committed to continually evolving the Newsletter to ensure it supports Members’ needs, providing the relevant type, depth and frequency of information.’ Explains Norah Ryan, President of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce.  ‘We are delighted to continue our association with Aptus – their support is much appreciated.’

The Chamber are encouraging more members to tap into the Newsletter as a vehicle for promoting their business.

‘We can see from our analytics that the Newsletter is well-received and well-read – so we are encouraging more members to tap into this as a route to amplify their message to the business community.  By sharing business news – awards, anniversaries, new product launches, new services, staff announcements etc. – you can raise the profile and awareness of your business amongst this key business audience.’ Explains Nicola Doran, CEO of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber are making it easier to submit information to via the Newsletter itself, through the Chamber website or indeed by simply emailing admin@carlowchamber.com.  So don’t miss this free, and effective way of promoting your business.
