Our CEO Nicola Doran had the pleasure of attending an event in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Official Residence on Thursday 18th June.
The evening was hosted by Ambassador Florence Ensch to celebrate Luxembourg National Day.
Guest speaker Minister Jennifer Murnane O Connor reflected on the long and rich history of ties between Luxembourg and Ireland, and in particular Carlow.
As part of the Irish Presidency of the EU (July – December 2026) Carlow has been paired with Luxembourg and we look forward to building on our already strong relationships with both Ambassador Ensch and with the Irish Ambassador to Luxembourg Jean McDonald.
This pairing initiative provides a fantastic opportunity to further the economic and cultural connections between both regions and we will work closely with Carlow County Council and all stakeholders involved. .
