Carlow Chamber meet with Minister of State for Trade, Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation

Jul 14, 2023

Deputy Jennifer Murnane O Connor and Chamber board members were delighted with the opportunity to meet with
Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment _
Darragh Calleary in Carlow yesterday.

They also meet with Denis Curran, IDA Head of Regions, Property and Enterprise Development
Brian McGee, IDA South East Regional Manager
Where they discussed the IDA’s plans for attracting tenants for the new IDA Advance Building Solution on the Dublin Rd. Carlow.

Carlow County Chamber impressed on the minister and IDA representatives how important it is for the future growth of our county and town,
that a suitable tenant takes up residency in this state of the art new building as soon as possible. The building will be completed and ready for handover within the next month.

Carlow Chamber agreed to work in any way possible with the IDA, local authorities, LEO and local representatives to attract new business to this fantastic new location.
Carlow new university town status, close proximity to Dublin & Rosslare, along with re-generation plans for the town are some of the unique selling points that Carlow has to offer ahead of other locations.
