Carlow Chamber attend the Chambers Ireland / Eurochambres Dinner

Jun 22, 2026

Chamber President Norah Ryan and CEO Nicola Doran attended the Chambers Ireland / Eurochambres dinner in the Alex Hotel, Dublin on Monday 14th June sponsored by Zurich Ireland

Earlier that day, a Eurochambres delegation led by President Vladimir Dlouhy and CEO Ben Butters met with Taoiseach Micheál Martin to discuss priorities for Ireland’s upcoming EU Presidency, with a strong focus on competitiveness, SME growth and Europe’s economic resilience.

Attended by chamber leaders and business representatives from across Ireland and Europe the dinner provided an opportunity to connect and understand the strength of the Chamber network in Europe.

Lobbying and advocacy is central to what we in County Carlow Chamber do. Being part of Chambers Ireland and Eurochambres is key – and we are proud to play an active role.

Eurochambres plays a significant role in ensuring the voice of business is reflected in European policy and decision-making.
