Carlow Chamber AGM 2026

Jul 7, 2026

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Chamber AGM on the 25th June – the hottest day of the year so far!  With the sun shining, we tried to keep formalities to a minimum.

We are delighted to announce that we have 3 new members joining our board – Laura Mullin of Royal Oak Stores and The Old Post Office Cafe, David Clerkin of MSD and Patrick Byrne of Burnside Eurocyl.  They are all very welcome – and we look forward to working with them over the weeks and months ahead.

Our President Norah Ryan now enters the second year of her 2-year presidency – and we are delighted to welcome Paddy Carroll of Carroll Estimating as our incoming President for 2027.  As a Chamber we always have 2 serving Vice Presidents – the incoming President and the most recent former President.  Paddy will join Michael Quinn of Robert Quinn Ltd as Vice President for the year ahead.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the board members who stepped down this year – Rowena Dooley, Gary Evans, Kirsty Kavanagh, Eva Gallagher, John Brophy, Mick Kelly and Colin Rea.

The energy, commitment and passion that they have brought to the Chamber – in many cases over many years – has made County Carlow Chamber the open, progressive, ambitious organisation that it is.

Having an active and engaged board, ensures a vibrant and progressive Chamber – and we are very grateful to all the board members over the years who have voluntarily given of their time, insight and expertise.
