Carlow Arts Centre Limited is seeking a Chief Executive Officer / Artistic Director to lead the next phase of development for the VISUAL Centre for Contemporary Art and George Bernard Shaw Theatre. Based in Carlow Town and reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer / Artistic Director will shape artistic direction, drive strategic ambition, strengthen organisational performance and grow VISUAL’s profile and audience impact at local, national and international level.

The Chief Executive Officer / Artistic Director will foster strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in support of VISUAL’s artistic vision, long-term sustainability and civic impact.
